When she's not off spending time with her family or scaling mountains, she keeps herself busy as a speaker, activist, and best-selling author. She and her husband, Nick, founded the anti-human trafficking organization The A21 Campaign. They also founded Propel Women, an initiative that is dedicated to coming alongside women all over the globe to activate their God-given purpose.

Kevin and his wife Molly run Basic Ministry, a nonprofit that feeds and supports the homeless in Los Angeles. They also work with The Last Mile, teaching coding and audio-video production to incarcerated individuals to help them gain marketable skills. Kevin's ultimate goal is to continue serving the poor and expanding Basic Ministry's impact.
